Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Join a class and make some Valentine cards for your favorite people. Gift certificates are also available if you want to add a special “I love you” inside your card!
The Craft and Hobby Association’s winter show was last week in Anaheim, California. Lots of new ideas, tools, embellishments and more. Bazzill Basics has new In Stitch’z templates, jewel embellishments, paper flowers and even more paper. I have placed an order and it should be arriving in about 10 days.
Pinecone Press also has some new goodies. Patterned papers for spring and summer as well as some new Disney coordinating papers. These work well with their library pocket books, explosion boxes and flap books. Flap books will be arriving in red this time as well as black and white.
New patterned papers, kits, tools and more will be arriving from Notions Marketing next week. Watch the web site for new arrivals. Everything will be posted as it arrives.
Mainely Memories will be in Vasselboro , Maine at the Natanis Golf Course this coming Saturday. This is a benefit crop for the Vassalboro PTO. Next up will be the biggest and favorite New England event! K.I.S.S. will hold its annual weekend get-a-way at the Radisson Inn in Manchester, N.H. This is a fun filled weekend with lots of cropping time around the clock. Vendors will also be on hand for classes, make-n-takes, new ideas and shopping. Contact information for all events attended by Mainely Memories can be found on the website under the Upcoming Events link. Plan some winter fun!
Open class time is also posted on the website. Get together with your friends, or make some new ones at the studio, and work on your albums, cards and paper crafting projects. Every open crop is individualized for every person’s needs. Learn some new techniques, master some old ones and have some craft time to help you get through the winter. Time to stock up on ideas and supplies before the next snow storm hits!
Studio hours for browsing and shopping are by appointment. Please call (428-3944) or email for availability. If I am not at an event, I will be in the studio! Directions are located on the website, complete with mileage and land marks to make your drive quick and easy. The studio is 12 minutes from the Maine Turnpike Exit 63.
