Mainely Memories Newsletter - November 2, 2008

The time change has arrived.  I loved my extra hour of sleep last night!  Autumn will be over before you realize it and the snow will be falling.

November is here.  The countdown for your holiday gifts and craft projects has begun.  You have about 53 days to get everything finished!!  I will personally be starting mine in about 50 days.

There are lots of ideas for Christmas and other holiday projects in the studio.  Mini-albums, Flap Books, Explosion Boxes, Accordion Albums, Paper Mache Boxes and more.  You can create personalized gifts for friends and family with your time and creativity.  Everyone loves a homemade item from the heart.

I will be at the Singing Hills Retreat, “Memories that Matter” this coming Thursday, November 6th through Sunday, November 9th.  Croppin’ for Kids’ Sake will be the following Saturday, November 15th at the Sabattus Elementary School.  Details are on the website under the EVENTS link.  Registration is still open for both events.

The open classes in the studio for the remainder of the year are filling up.  Call or email to register for a seat.  The entire schedule can be viewed on the website at http://www.mainelymemories.com.

New inventory is arriving daily. Paper Wizard diecuts, Stamping Station diecuts, Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss cardstock, In Stitch’s Templates and new Time Flies Page Kits arrived this week.  The online store is updated with the new products.  Lots of new sample layouts and mini-albums have been posted in the store under the GALLERY link.  Plenty of new ideas!

Thanks to everyone who helped me at the end of the Crop for the Cure event.  Special thanks to Joe and Nancy Pichette.  Nancy took command of packing and loading the trailer.  Joe drove my truck home for me without one complaint about having to miss the last of the World Series game six.  Karen and Nan drove me to the emergency room after Lynn won that battle with me.  I left with no broken bones, just sporting a black eye and lots of bruises.  Old age is for the birds.

Lucy celebrated had her first Halloween!  Be on the look out for the new layouts with Lucy as Pebbles Flintstone.
